Sage

01 — Blog, SEO pages, downloads editor

Content manager and editor for Sage

I ensure our audience gets benefits-first, jargon-free content across UKI, CA, US and SA regions.

Content types: articles, pdf downloads, seo landing pages, emails, webinars, podcasts and external blogs.

I manage the end-to-end process, working with stakeholders and delivering to project timelines.

As an addition to my role, I undertook a 6-month voluntary position as a co-lead for the internal UKI Ability Network. Duties include FY25 planning on colleague activations, network expansion and training, and creating those materials, events, and surveys that will re-ignite our membership. Supported employees are productive employees.

01 — Case Study- Acquired brand refresh.

Our aim was to refresh 3 acquired brands with and align them to the Sage tone of voice with user benefit front-of-mind. Challenges were senior stakeholder resistance to change and style guide limitations of their existing content.

Outcome: 3 refreshed brands with new assets, content, and refreshed evergreen content.

Special mention: re-wording the onboarding emails and in-app copy pushed a rise in successful onboarding by 11%.

02 — Creative process

By understanding each brand's user base and product features, I was able to deliver clear pieces of content that reflected the needs of the business. Existing content was edited to engage the user more purposefully, and still created a flow-through to the Sage brand style. I was also able to identify both style guide errors and user journey issues in the product itself, flagged it, and delivered further supporting materials.

03 — Results

As part of my refresh of both marketing materials and the in-product copy itself, one challenger brand had an onboarding uplift of 11% for the first month and 9% for the next two months after refresh.
